Tween dresses are for that forgotten age range, over 8 and too big for Mothercare but not big enough for the smallest ladies wear.  The word tweens originates in America (where else?) but fits this age group perfectly.  The don't want barbie pink any more because that's for babies, they want older colours and styles but you still want them to look like little girls.  The High Street shops have all the character wear and current fashion trends they love but if you're attending a wedding or christening or Grandad's 60th birthday party at a posh restaurant, you probably don't want her in a pair of leggings and a Hannah Montana tee shirt.  We stock smarter dresses suitable for such an occasion including several of our own label designs which you won't find on the High Street
